The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has re-launched its Greenbuild365 website. The updated site, www.greenbuild365.org, features increased educational offerings, podcasts and expanded resources, along with access to plenaries and master speaker presentations from USGBC’s Annual Greenbuild Conference & Expo.
“The fundamental driving force in the green building movement is the work of innovative building professionals; such leadership is a critical component to achieving USGBC’s mission of a sustainable built environment for all within a generation,” said Peter Templeton, senior vice president of research and education, USGBC. “Greenbuild365 gives us a platform where that leadership and knowledge from a broad range of disciplines — design, construction, real estate, education and more — can be shared around the globe.”
Greenbuild365.org highlights include:
• Course Catalog: Third-party-reviewed green building courses featuring USGBC's core LEED offerings, as well as courses approved by the Education Provider Program that extend beyond the LEED green building certification program.
• Green Bytes: Free, brief "bytes" of green building education consisting of case studies, best practices and information delivered in the form of short videos, podcasts and articles.
• Greenbuild Conference & Expo Media Library: Videos of Greenbuild keynote speakers.
Online courses will be available to team leaders at 1700 Habitat for Humanity sites across the country at no charge.
