EMPIRE STATE BUILDING PURSUES LEED GOLD RETROFIT

A $20 million package of retrofits will help turn New York City's Empire State Building into a LEED certified structure. The updates will decrease energy usage by as much as 40 percent and annual cost savings are expected to total $4.4 million.
