LEED AWARDS EXTRA CREDIT FOR REGIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

The U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating system is giving away credits. Under LEED V3 2009, which introduces regional priority credits, projects can earn as many as four bonus points for implemented building elements and practices that regional USGBC chapters have tagged as environmentally specific to their geographical locales.
