WASHINGTON (Sept. 15, 2009) -- On any construction site, there is no substitution for good planning. Studies show that construction projects that proactively use and update schedules have a greater record of on-budget and on-time completion. Experienced schedulers report that a proper construction schedule is one of the best communication and documentation tools on the job site, enabling team members to coordinate activities for common short and long-term goals and realize successful project management.
WPL Publishing has partnered with nine
top schedulers in a four-part webinar series, Scheduling Best
Practices 2009, to share information on how to use today's
robust CPM scheduling software programs to create better schedules.
They will also discuss how and why a properly designed schedule can
help construction teams better plan and manage projects. For
registration information, visit www.scheduling2009.

every construction project. They

the course of the project, as well as touch on how to deal with a
recovery schedule.
Each
session will conclude with a 10 to 15-minute, interactive
question-and-answer session so listeners can discuss specific issues
or gain additional knowledge about topics discussed. This series is
specifically geared towards schedulers, project managers, project
engineers, architects, construction managers, office engineers and
other team members involved in the day-to-day operations of a
construction or design-build project.
